Is this where you find yourself?

Maybe you're carrying grief that feels too heavy to name.
Maybe motherhood, loss, or a major life shift has left you unsure of who you are.
Maybe you're exhausted from holding it all together — overwhelmed, anxious, burned out.

You long for space to breathe, to feel, to reconnect with yourself.

This is the work we do together. Through art, presence, and gentle exploration, we begin to make meaning of your experience — and create space for healing, clarity, and self-trust.

Approaches

  • Art therapy offers a unique way to heal when words aren’t enough. Through creative expression, you can safely explore difficult emotions and experiences in a way that feels less threatening and more freeing.

Engaging in the creative process helps calm the nervous system—activating the body’s natural relaxation response—creating space for growth and healing. It’s a nonjudgmental, joyful journey that lifts your spirits and opens pathways for new, positive brain connections.

Art therapy is not only healing—it can be deeply enjoyable and renewing.

  • Immanuel Approach is a gentle, heart-centered method that invites you to connect with the presence of God (Immanuel) in the midst of your healing journey.

This approach helps you engage with emotional pain or difficult memories in a way that feels safe, grounded, and compassionate. Rather than reliving trauma alone, you are guided to experience it while staying connected to a sense of peace, warmth, or divine presence.

Whether or not you identify with a specific faith, this practice can foster deep emotional healing, build resilience, and offer a profound sense of being seen, loved, and supported.

  • I take a whole body approach looking at the mind/body connection and attending to the root cause of symptoms. Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP) Training in process

  • The Anchored Relational Model is a therapeutic approach that supports individuals in developing a deeper, more grounded connection with themselves and with others.

It focuses on cultivating internal safety and emotional regulation, helping clients stay anchored while exploring challenging experiences or relational patterns. Through this work, many people find greater freedom to show up authentically in their relationships and lives.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a well-researched, evidence-based therapy used to help people heal from trauma, anxiety, and distressing life experiences.

Through a structured process involving bilateral stimulation (like eye movements or tapping), EMDR helps the brain reprocess stuck or painful memories so they no longer carry the same emotional charge.

Many clients find that EMDR allows them to access and release beliefs or emotions they’ve carried for years — gently and effectively. For a more detailed explanation please visit this resource or feel free to reach out with questions.

  • Sessions provide you the time you need to verbally process stressors, trials, and successes. If creative processes are not for you, Carrie give full attention to help guide, build curiosity and problem solve.
